Northern Lights are delighted to award charitable company GloMania as Business of the Month

Northern Lights have offered support and networking facilities to international company GloMania, who are based in Blackpool over the past year to help grow their business.

Alber and Theresa from Blackpool decided that they were going to expand their own business after Theresa suffered head injuries in an ice-skating accident five years ago by going international, “We thought life’s just too short” said Alber.  GloMania produces Cosmic Star Ceilings, invisible during the day but magically appear when the lights go out along with business start up kits which have so far enabled over 120 artists to run their own businesses all over the world.  GloMania is also a very charitable company and  ensure their ProFx artists are too. Their charitable projects include Booth Hall Children’s Hospital in Manchester and Donna’s Dream House in Blackpool.

Alber believes GloMania won the Business of the Month award due to the company’s diversity and innovativeness along with their commitment. “We were shocked and amazed to win; it really means a lot to be recognised by Northern Lights for our hard work. We are continually developing new products at the same time as giving back to the community so we hope this will make us strong candidates in the competition for Business of the Year.”

Northern Lights mentor, Lateef Badat commented on GloMania’s commitment: “After already being nominated as finalists for Biba’s e-business of the year, being commissioned to work on projects in America and not only surviving the current recession but retaining enough profit to support charities, GloMania stood out from the crowd as obvious contenders for our Business of the Month award.”

Alber is extremely grateful for the attention Northern Lights has drawn to GloMania and ultimately helped it to grow. He plans to put the £250 prize money towards the development of a new child and eco friendly paint which will enable GloMania to grow further as one of the most advanced cosmic ceiling companies in the world.

Apart from further business growth, in the future Alber and his wife want to “help more artists start their own businesses and be in a position where they can say that they have made a difference to the community and brought happiness to children around the world.”

Manufacturing Upgrade

We have now completed our assessment of our manufacturing process for our Glow in the Dark Paints and Glow in the Dark Products. By the end of April we should have completed  the re design of our labelling and All Glow in the Dark Paints  should have  Bar Codes and Batch Numbers, making it easier to control the QA of our Products.

Our new range of paints will shortly be launched for the summer of 2010 to include pantone based UV Reactive  Paints in 60ml, 120ml, 500ml and 1 litre pots. We will be able to offer a pantone guide line and colour chart to choose your own colours.

All Glomania and StarMaker products will shortly be distributed through our new packaging and distribution hub based in Blackpool to cover the UK and Europe.

Valentines Ball Donna’s Dream House

This was the first and hopefully the beginning of things to come for Len Curtis MBE and Donna’s Dream House. We were invited to the very first Valentines Day Ball held at the Hilton Hotel Blackpool to help raise awareness and Raise funds for the Donna’s Dream House Charity.

The event was a massive success with a number of well know celeb’s and auctions all night long. GloMania also donated a Complete Cosmic Star Ceiling to be auctioned off on the night and this alone raised a massive £1,000.00. Lejon’s Room

Lejon is a wonderful child living with his Grandma because his mother died tragically some years back. In conjunction with our appeal for “Create a Cosmic Star Ceiling for a Deserving Child at Christmas”.  We were very please to offer a complete Cosmic Star Ceiling to Lejon and his family.

Jacks Room

To be honest it is not often, that we get so emotionally involved with a family but I must admit when we met Jacks Parents, Brother and Sister it was like we had known them for ever. They are a wonderful family and they work so hard to make little Jacks life as full as possible.

During a recent charitable event where we donated a ceiling to Brian House, a charity for children suffering from life threatening illness’s, Jack’s parents bid on a complete Cosmic Experience for him. Unfortunately they were not the winners of the auction, however the winners Len Curtis from Donna’s Dream House, gave them the winning prize as a donation.

Please see the following DVD it is just a small compilation of what we created for them and Jack. This is what a ProFx Cosmic Star Ceiling is all about and why StarMakerFx places so much on it’s charity involvement. Owner Maria believes “Every child should have a little piece of HEAVEN”, and this is Jack’s.

New alts to ProFx Artists

Well it has been a long hard battle over the last 5-6 months to finish developing the new PROFX ARTISTS websites for our members, but I can say that I believe we have now completed the first part of this mammoth task.

Not only have we completed this part of the Artists website but we have also managed to fit in time to re design the ProFx Artists Information pages at http://www.profxartist.com hope you like the new layout.

As you can imagine creating pages for our Artists is a time consuming process as each artist is individual both in language and skills. So these new sites have been designed with individuality in mind.  Now if  a Cosmic Star Ceiling artist is Croatian, Russian or Polish they can have a website in their mother tongue and develop the site around themselves.

This is not like other offerings of a “landing page” for a website. This is a complete fully automated SEO’d website designed for PROFX cosmic star ceiling Artists only.  The ability to alter TEXT, Images, load Flash animation all from the control of the members area.

This is the most incredible Cosmic Star Ceiling Sales Aide and the bottom line is you do not need to worry, its loaded onto one of our dedicated servers and link directly to your members area.

All this and access to the Award Winning Members Area is all in the license fee, as well as downloads, video tutorials and loads more.

ProFx Artist is a on going continually developing business and we need to be able to offer you everything possible to make your business a success. We will and do upgrade not only the websites but also the members area and DO NOT charge for the benefit.

Glomania group are going through a radical face lift for 2010.
Out with the OLD and in with the NEW.
Over the last couple of months GloMania have been in meetings with a number of high ranking individuals ( No Lord Alan Sugar was not one of them)

to re-evaluate GloMania and position them in a more professional market.However I do not suppose that we will get a mention in the Sunday Times Newspaper or Sky News this time.
As you can now see an all new designed GLOMANIA GROUP . We have placed all our sub-subsidiaries under the same banner. ( Hope you like the colour scheme) Although each of the companies – StarMakerFx, ProFx Artist and The GloMania Store are individual in their own rights, they all link back to the Glomania Group. For those of you that missed his programme, a Cosmic Star Ceiling is created using “Virtually Invisible” daytime paints that soak in the suns rays and when the lights go out EMIT a soft ambient light. We can create these images on any surface and have recently completed a number of large Star Ceiling projects in Booth Hall Children’s Hospital and Donna’s Dream House. It takes a ProFx Artist a couple of hours to create one of these amazing Cosmic Star Ceilings as each Star, Milky Way and Comet is hand painted. and this has led to a greater interest in what a Cosmic Star Ceiling is all about.
